Michael Fairbrother is entering his third year as Color Guard Director at Lehman High School and is very excited about the future with the program.

Michael’s passion for the band and Color Guard activities started in high school, where he was a clarinet player for the 8 time FMBC state champion marching band of Santa Fe High School.  Michael’s love for Color Guard began his junior year when he was given a spot in the Winter Guard which he held through his senior year. He went on to march Teal Sound (2006, 2007), The Cadets (2008, 2009), Northeast Independent (2008, 2009), Premonition Winter Guard (2011) and Braddock Independent (2012)

Michael has a rich teaching history around the state of Florida starting at Baldwin Jr. Sr. H.S. (2007), Bartram Trail H.S. (2009) Key West High School (2009-2012), Silver Trail M.S. (2012), West Broward H.S. (2012), Coral Springs Charter (2013) and Jupiter H.S. (2013-2017) William T. Dwyer H.S. (2017) He has also taught Premonition Winter Guard (2015,2016)

Michael will continue spreading his love for pageantry arts with every student he has the privilege to instruct over the course of his career, as his way of giving back to everything in the activity that have brought him overwhelming joy.
